A message from Graydon

Our mission to give you good skin days, every day, is about more than feeling good about your skin. It’s also about feeling good about the skincare brand you use.

We want you to feel good knowing that we’re committed to moving the beauty industry to improving our impact on the planet. From innovative packaging and local production, to third-party ingredient verifications and carbon-offsetting, we’re introducing sustainability and transparency initiatives to help make beauty better.

Learn more about our sustainability and transparency initiatives in our Mindful Beauty Magazine.

Sustainable Packaging

A large part of building a sustainable beauty industry is in the packaging we create and ship, ensuring that its materials come from sustainable sources and can be recycled when reaching the end of its life.

Our Intimacy Oil and Face Food bottles are now made from 50% PCR (Post Consumer Recycled Resin) and are fully recyclable.

Our boxes have become even more sustainable when we removed silver foil and laminates and began producing them locally, further reducing their CO2 impact. The pulp for the boxes are certified to never come from old growth forests.

The Last Mile

We recognize that despite our best efforts, some components of beauty packaging cannot be recycled through your curbside recycling program. These include pumps, caps, droppers and black plastics. Moving towards our goal of 100% recyclable packaging, we're a founding member of Pact. This non-profit collective is working to make the beauty industry more circular by providing solutions for hard-to-recycle packaging.

Drop off your empties at a Credo or Hudson's Bay Pact box near you.

Pact's Mail-Back Program
If an in-store drop-off isn’t possible, we encourage you to participate in Pact's Mail-Back Program

    1. Once you have finished using your beauty products, set any hard-to-recycle components aside. See Pact’s Collection Guidelines for more information.
    2. Place 510 components from any brand into a box or envelope. Reuse one if possible!
    3. Print your shipping label and mail your package.

All you have to do is pay a small $5 shipping fee and we’ll pay for the recycling cost!

You’ll also receive a $5 off discount code to apply towards your next purchase. It’s our way of saying thank you for helping us to improve circularity in the beauty industry and take better care of our planet.

Our Partnership with Ocean Legacy

The Ocean Legacy Foundation (OLF) is a globally-recognized, non-profit organization based in British Columbia, Canada, that is committed to ending ocean plastic waste.

We’re proud to donate $1 to the Ocean Legacy Foundation for every 30 mL bottle of Fullmoon Serum we sell. This money will be used to help fund cleanups in ecologically sensitive regions and reduce the amount of plastic that is harming our planet. Click here to learn more.

We plant a tree for every order!

Ecologi is a climate positive environmental organization that funds responsible tree planting and carbon offsetting projects.

Through this program, we plant a native and biodiverse mix of tree species in Madagascar, Mozambique and Nicaragua with every order. These baby trees grow to support communities and wildlife, improve soil and water quality, and boost the biodiversity of the local area.

In addition to benefiting the environment, Ecologi’s planting projects support local communities and reduce poverty by employing local workers.

Upcycled Ingredients

Part of our sustainability mission is the way in which we source our ingredients. Upcycled ingredients are those that would have otherwise gone to waste but have instead been used in our products. Check out our upcycled ingredients:

Our blueberry seed oil is 100% upcycled from the juicing industry. Once the pulp is removed from the juice, the oils get extracted from the seeds of the pullp to become an upcycled, vegan, sustainable oil with all the same skin-loving, nutrient-rich benefits.

Raspberry seed oil: Our raspberry seed oil is a 100% upcycled waste product from the juicing industry. Once the berries are juiced, the seeds are removed from the pulp and the oils are extracted from the seeds to produce a nutrient-rich, sustainable oil for use in cosmetic products.
