Our Commitment to Sustainability

Mother Earth First

At Graydon, we believe in giving you the very best skincare has to offer. This ethos not only extends to our unique, plant-powered formulas and ethical sourcing of ingredients, but our packaging as well. Over the past three years, we have improved the sustainability of our packaging. Our serums are housed in glass bottles and our refreshing face mist and luxurious body oil both come in a 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic bottle. We also offer refill options in order to reduce our carbon footprint.

Did you know that an estimated 120 billion beauty packages are produced each year, much of which cannot be recycled by municipal recovery facilities?

If you are as concerned about protecting and preserving Mother Earth as we are, you might be wondering about our pumps, droppers, caps and black plastic packaging. These items cannot be recycled locally. That’s why we’ve joined forces with Pact, a non-profit collective that’s dedicated to making the beauty industry more circular by providing solutions for hard-to-recycle packaging.

For the most sustainable and low-impact option, please drop off your hard-to-recycle beauty components in a Pact collection bin near you. Pact bins can be found in all Hudson Bay locations within Canada and Credo Beauty locations within the U.S.

Pact's Mail-Back Program

If an in-store drop-off isn’t possible, we encourage you to participate in Pact's Mail-Back Program.

    1. Once you have finished using your beauty products, set any hard-to-recycle components aside. See Pact’s Collection Guidelines for more information.
    2. Place 510 components from any brand into a box or envelope. Reuse one if possible!
    3. Print your shipping label and mail your package.

All you have to do is pay a small $5 shipping fee and we’ll pay for the recycling cost!

You’ll also receive a $5 off discount code to apply towards your next purchase. It’s our way of saying thank you for helping us to improve circularity in the beauty industry and take better care of our planet.

The Ocean Legacy Foundation

The Ocean Legacy Foundation (OLF) is a globally-recognized, non-profit organization based in British Columbia, Canada, that is committed to ending ocean plastic waste.

We’re proud to donate $1 to the Ocean Legacy Foundation for every 30 mL bottle of Fullmoon Serum we sell. This money will be used to help fund cleanups in ecologically sensitive regions and reduce the amount of plastic that is harming our planet. Click here to learn more.
