Bakuchiol comes from the seeds of the bakuchi/babchi herb, and is an inflammation soothing, antioxidant, and antimicrobial ingredient that is suitable for sensitive skin. 

Bakuchiol is known as a botanical retinol alternative or a “bio-retinol” because of its ability to mimic the skin benefits of a traditional retinol. However, unlike traditional retinol which can increase the sensitivity of your skin and make you more prone to UV damage, bakuchiol does not sensitize the skin, making it suitable for daily AM and PM use.

Bakuchiol is capable of regulating melanin production to give skin a brighter, more even complexion.
