Cacao Nibs DIY Exfoliating Face Mask

Cacao Nibs DIY Exfoliating Face Mask

If you're looking for a new exfoliating face mask to try on self care Sunday, here's one that I've been loving lately since it lightly exfoliates while providing nourishment to the skin, leaving it looking revitalized. This also works great as a lip scrub too!

Things You'll Need

  • 1 tablespoon of cacao nibs or cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon Sunflower oil (can also use grapeseed, sweet, almond, ghee, coconut or olive oil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of clover honey
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Pinch of Himalayan sea salt

Combine cacao nibs with oil to form a paste. Add in honey, cinnamon and sea salt into the mixture. Apply all over face and wash off after 10-15 minutes. The remaining paste can be kept in a small jar for next time.

To nourish your skin on the inside, you can also add a spoonful of this mixture into your tea or coffee. Not only will it make your beverage extra tasty but it's good for you too.
