Smoothie vs. Smoothie

Smoothie vs. Smoothie

The philosophy of Graydon Skincare is to create results-driven skincare, formulated with clinically-proven superfood ingredients. And there’s a good reason behind it.

Here’s a fun fact about me: Before I got into the skincare business, I was a vegan chef.

And as a vegan chef, I’ve come across countless mouth-watering recipes that would guarantee to give your immune system that perfect health boost. And one of my favourite types of food is, well, actually a type of drink: Smoothies.

I thought I’d share one of my fav nourishing smoothies to tide me over through the cooler days.

Ready? Ok, here it goes:

Banana Cocoa Smoothie

Banana - make sure it's ripe

Hemp Milk (add about a coffee cup full) My fav ❤️  but you can choose whatever!

Rolled Oats (just a handful) - Rich in beta glucans, oats thickens the smoothie to give it a nice texture. Add as much as you want.

Chia seeds (a small spoonful) - Excellent sources of protein and healthy fat.

Cocoa (just a pinch) - Loaded with anti-oxidants!

To make it, simply put everything in a blender and blend until it’s all smooth. Then serve it immediately. If you want to meal prep, you can pour it into mason jars and seal with the lids. Super cute!

I love smoothies for many reasons. For once, it’s a super quick way for you to get all the nutrition you need. It’s also easy and hassle-free to do.

Who doesn’t like a fun DIY project?

So when I created Graydon Skincare, it was my wish to come up with fun, enjoyable products that allow everyone to mix and match to suit their unique skin needs. Like making a smoothie!

Here’s one skincare smoothie recipe that you can try right now. These are the products that you’d need:

Hydration Explosion Skin Smoothie

Fullmoon Serum - 3 drops

Superfood Serum - 3 drops

Green Cream - 1 pump

Berry Rich - 1 pump

Face Food - 2 pumps

To make it, put the products onto the palm of your hand and mix them up evenly. Then apply the ‘smoothie’ all over your face and neck* using the effleurage technique for glowing skin. It’s that simple!

*Make sure to do a patch test first to avoid any potential irritation!

This is my favourite recipe to do. Sometimes, my skin would go through a phase where it’d look a bit dry and dull. When that happens, I’d make this ‘smoothie’ and apply it to my skin at night.

The result? Waking up with beautifully glowy and perfectly hydrated skin 😍

Depends on what your skin needs are, you’d probably have to make a different smoothie that suits you. If you need help with that, email our product experts at hello@graydonskincare.com.
