The Moon Bath and How it Can Elevate Your Spirituality

As the next full moon is quickly approaching (February 27th), I’m once again reminded of my own spiritual journey.

I’ve talked about both the scientific and spiritual aspects of the full moon before. In short, I see the full moon as a sacred time to let go of things that are no longer serving your purpose. By doing so, you can make room for better things.

Our Tiffany blue Fullmoon Serum was inspired by the healing magic of the full moon. The intention is that by adding Fullmoon Serum to your skincare routine, you’re setting yourself up for newer and better skin days. And that the effort you’ve put into your skincare routine will come back to you tenfold with positivity.

Did you know that each full moon has its own special name and carries its own unique energy? They’re also related to Mother Nature and the changing seasons!

This fascinating system dates back hundreds of years. Indigenous tribes used to keep track of the changing seasons by giving each recurring full moon its own name. This is why each full moon has an interesting and unique name, such as “Wolf Moon”, “Strawberry Moon”, and “Cold Moon”.

This month's full moon is referred to as the "Snow Moon". The name was inspired by the heavy snowfall that usually takes place in February. Due to harsh weather conditions, it was difficult for indigenous peoples to hunt and gather. This is why, the February full moon is also known as the “Hunger Moon”.

Why does all this matter?

As human beings, we’re affected by lunar energy. This is why it’s important to work with it and use it to our advantage. The full moon is the perfect time for you to give yourself some self-care and harness all the energy you can from the moon.

I personally really enjoy taking a moon bath during this time.

Water actually allows us to connect with the lunar energy. This helps us to more deeply connect with our inner being and open ourselves up to the greater things in life.

I always use All Over Soap and Intimacy Oil in my bath. It's my favourite way to protect and nourish my skin, while I enjoy a steamy soak. You can learn more about how I level up my bathing ritual here

Baths help me to recuperate and stay grounded. They also allow me to enjoy a few minutes of mindfulness.

I encourage you to take a deep breath and let it all go. Allow the water to cleanse you - literally and spiritually.
