Back to School Cleansing

With the hustle and bustle of school starting up, hygiene is often neglected! This can cause oily and congested skin, leading to facial breakouts and in turn, can be distracting during the school year.

With a proper cleansing routine, this issue can be easily avoided! The Bamboo Charcoal Konjac Sponge is a great way to habitually remember to cleanse your face. Once in the morning when you wake up and once before bed!

Our Sponge gets 3 inches wide and jelly-like when wet, and it's main ingredient, konjac, is naturally rich in potassium, calcium. Combined with bamboo charcoal, it helps to detoxify pores, smooth the skin and deeply cleanses your face. Thus, lifting excess dead skin cells and leaving you with silky soft feeling skin!

Cleansing your face daily helps tackle excess oil and thus is good for preventing congestion.

The Bamboo Charcoal Konjac Sponge can act as a reminder (like tying a string around your finger) by being hung right by your sink where it can be directly visible while brushing your teeth. It takes up minimal space and only needs to be hung to dry after each use.

The Bamboo Charcoal Sponge works best when paired with your favourite Graydon cleanser, like our Face Foam. Face Foam is an oil-free unscented cleanser that provides a thorough cleanse, balanced pH, reduces irritations, evens skin tone, all without drying out the skin!

No one wants to add another thing to their to-do-list especially when settling into school, so why not make cleansing a habit and turn it into a routine!

Plant-Based Milk Recipes by Skin Chef Graydon

Let’s clarify this first…all milk alternatives are far better for the planet than dairy. A 2018 study* by researchers at the University of Oxford showed that producing a glass of dairy milk results in almost three times more greenhouse gas emissions than any plant-based milk and it consumes nine times more land than any of the milk alternatives.
