The question I get asked most regularly these days is, 'How do I deal with my dry, winter skin?'. Well here's a super simple and effective DIY strategy..
Use your favorite body oil and slather it generously it all over your body before you step into the shower or the bath.
You can use ours which is is infused with lavender, chamomile and sandalwood (which is really lovely) BUT you can also use ingredients like coconut or olive oil, which you probably already have in your kitchen.
Whatever you choose, when you're submerged in your bath water or enjoying the 'rain' in the shower, take a washcloth and rub your skin vigorously. You will feel the goodness of the oil and warm water sinking in to your skin. Don't forget to gently rub your face with the oil and washcloth too.
When stepping out of the tub or the shower (be careful not to slip) and then repeat the scrubbing process with a coarse towel -- and I promise you will be amazed at how soft, smooth and non-greasy your whole body will feel for at least 24 hours.
Follow this by drinking a big glass of water. If you have the time take a nap, or even better schedule your 'oil rub' right before you go to bed, and I promise you'll sleep like a baby!
